26 September 2021: Archaeological Restoration – Volunteer Work Party to clear bracken from Dartmoor hut circles. 10am-3.00pm. Come and help Dartmoor Ranger, Ella Briens and DNPA archaeologist, Andy Crabb protect Dartmoor’s at risk Scheduled Monuments by clearing the bracken from the almost completely hidden ancient, enclosed hut circle settlements at Addicombe, Harford. Meet at Stowford Moor Gate at 10.00am. If you come by car, there is plenty of free parking at Ivybridge Railway Station which is a short walk away up Stowford Lane (Two Moors Way).
