Moth Watch at The Luces

Friday 7 August 2026: ‘Moth Watch at The Luces’:
Phil Dean, of the Devon Moth Group council, and author of ‘The Moths of South Brent Parish’ (updated 2026 and available for non commercial download here), and Mike Goss of Brent Birders, will bring their moth traps to ‘The Luces’ wildlife garden, just off Hillside.
Come from 8.30-10.30pm. Greater numbers are likely as night falls.
The Moths will be put in glass jars to look at close up for a short time, before being released.
Bring your own chair if needed and refreshments and a torch for safety.
It will be amazing! We are so lucky to have this expertise on our doorstep. This event is weather dependent and will be postponed if wet.
