‘EcoPubHub’ – ‘Dreaming of a Green Christmas’

Thursday 4 November 2021. ‘Dreaming of a Green Christmas’ from 8-9.30pm. Another laid-back SSB ‘EcoPubHub’. Are you dreaming of a Green Christmas? Want to know what’s available to buy locally and from local makers? Or need some inspiration for more environmentally friendly and socially conscious gifts? Then join us on Zoom for an informal evening of discussion about what we can do. We’ll be joined by some local business owners, makers, and event organisers who will be sharing their wealth of knowledge and giving tips on ethical purchasing, giving courses as gifts and craft fairs and local markets:
- Lucy Willoughby of Good Things, is championing ethical purchasing
- Isabel Coulton is talking on behalf of all the artists at South Brent ArtHouse. She’ll be talking about the idea of courses as gifts – what could be better? A weightless gift that upskills the recipient?
- Donna Warne of the Village Shop will talk about what’s available locally and why buy local
- Sue Astal Stain and Jo Plumbly (organisers of forthcoming craft and Christmas markets) will make a case for buying your presents from Craft Fairs and local markets.
Register to join via www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ecopubhub-dreaming-of-a-green-christmas-tickets-194786410397, or scan the QR code, after which you will be emailed the Zoom link.
