Talk by Nicky Scott (aka Dr Compost)

Saturday 12 March 2022: Talk by Nicky Scott aka Dr Compost at 1pm in the Village Hall organised by Sustainable South Brent. Having set up the first community composting project and ‘Proper Job’ Community Reuse Centre at Chagford in the early 1990s, Nicky Scott became co-ordinator of the Devon Community Composting Network (DCCN) and was chair of the National Community Composting Network (CCN) for many years. He is the author of ‘Composting for all’ and many other books on composting and recycling. He will be talking as part of a day of visits to the SSB Marsh Community Composting site, (which was partly inspired by the Chagford project) and other SSB projects.
