Launch of Sustainable South Brent’s new Sustainability Hub

Sustainable South Brent is launching its new ‘South Brent Sustainability Hub’ in the Moor Room (formerly the gym) in the Old School Community Centre for a trial period from today (24^th September) until the end of November. There will be an exciting programme of activities lined up, including advice sessions, workshops, a film evening, and ‘meet your parish councillor’ sessions. local organisations and parishioners to come along, see what’s happening and join in.

The first events at the Hub are part of the Great Big Green Week (24 September – 2 October):

• Energy Bingo/coffee morning drop in on Monday 26 September 
• Harry’s tool rejuvenation demo drop in on Wednesday 28 September
• ‘Meet Mr Hedgehog’ on Thursday 29 September 4pm
• ‘Why did the Hedgehog cross the road’ on Thursday 29 September 7pm.
• Community Land Trust talk on Friday 30 September at 7.30pm
• Food Wax Wrap workshop on Saturday 1 October from 11am- 1pm
