Here’s hoping the dry weather will soon arrive with early summer!! Just a reminder that SSB Free to Loan Bike Bank is open whatever the weather. Take the opportunity to loan one of our three hybrid pedal bikes. If you are aged 16yrs (with adult consent) or over then click on the Bike Bank – ssb.org.uk/projects/cycling/ on the SSB website or go direct to the Bike Bank adjacent to The School House, at the Old School Community Centre where you can pick up information and check out dates for hire on the calendar. Bikes are available for loan for up to 7 days at any one time. Despite the hills the Bikes are light and easy to ride and will take you where you want to go with just a little effort. They are inspected following each ride, regularly maintained and come with cycle helmets, paniers, puncture repair kits, plus information on where to ride locally and further afield.
