The Hedges and Woodland Group hosted a lovely walk around Penstave Copse on Sunday 3 November (for more info see ssb.org.uk/event/guided-walk-at-penstave-copse/), with about 50 people who came to learn about the wood.
We talked about the fact that it is temperate rainforest and so an incredibly rare and special habitat, what the group are doing to manage it and how people can get involved.
