CANCELLED: Nature/Wildlife Day at the Market Garden

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE POOR WEATHER FORECAST

Sunday 20 September 2026: Nature / Wildlife Day at the Market Garden Site from 9am-12.00.

Phil Dean and Mike Goss have kindly offered to set up moth traps on the evening of Saturday 19 September, and we will gather at the field from 9am on the Sunday morning to see what has turned up overnight.  .

Phil and Mike Ingram will then also look at a bird species count, a plant count on a specific area, and possibly a worm count, depending on who is there to support.

Come if you can; let us know whether you can help out or bring further expertise, etc. You might like to bring: drinks and snacks, something to sit on, binoculars, magnifying glass and notebook.

This will be an informal SSB Wildlife Group meeting.
