Monday 21st November 2022: ‘Until the last Oak falls’: a talk by Adrian Fisk from 7-9pm in the Old School Community Centre. Join us for a riveting, visual journey through the roots of the British environmental movement and hear the compelling and inspiring stories behind the photographs in Adrian Fisk’s new book ‘Until the last Oak falls’, which documents early British environmental direct-action protests 1995-1999. What happened 25 years ago and why is it important now?

Adrian, who grew up on the moor close to South Brent, will take the audience on a deep dive from the treetops of the Newbury Bypass to ‘Reclaim the Street’s’ carnivalesque London protests, telling the stories behind the photographs. Copies of the book and posters available to buy.
