Eco-Pub-Hub’ – Greener Travel Workshop

Thursday 6 May 2021: Greener Travel Workshop from 8-9.30pm. Zoom into the second ‘EcoPubHub’ session, organized by SSB, this time focusing on green travel. Join us for an informal evening exploring our transport options in a carbon neutral world! Transport is currently one of our biggest carbon contributors. We know that petrol and diesel cars are on the way out. So what does a low-carbon transport economy look like and what are our transport alternatives? How can we as individuals get ahead of the game? We’ll discuss going electric, pedal power, car share, public transport and more including: ‘Is my bike suitable for e bike conversion?’ (Bob Fitzgerald of Bob’s Bike Shed’); ‘The joy of e-bikes’ -How my e-bike changed my life (Lindsey Stewart et al); ‘My first electric car’ (Jeremy Sabel); ‘Is car-share for you?’ (John Severn); ‘Get on the bus!’ (Jude Bishop).
