Front Gate Fundraiser – South Brent (SCF Yemen Crisis Appeal)

Saturday 10 April 2021: Save the Children; Yemen Crisis Appeal ‘Front Gate Fundraiser’ organised by South Brent Refugee Support Network (SBRSN) Stalls from 10am-4pm in the village centre, at artworks; outside Art House (at the Old School Community Centre); Wellington Square, School Gardens and at various Front Gates around the village, selling plants, cakes, preserves, books, clothes, bric-a-brac, cosmetics etc. A list of sellers will be available at the Cake Stall outside the Village Shop on the day.
Yemen’s children are growing up through the world’s largest humanitarian crisis. 14 million Yemenis are on the brink of famine; Six years of war has left 12.4million children needing assistance and particularly vulnerable to Coronavirus. You are invited to participate in South Brent by:
- having your own stall keep hold of bric-a-brac, clothing, un-opened cosmetics, plants, items you have made yourself (cakes, jams), or anything else that you could sell (you will also need an honesty box and hand sanitiser) – contact Ginny ASAP and before Thursday 8 April on 01364 72853 / 0793 4424212 or email email@example.com;
- contributing to another stall – If you have items for sale but unable to have your own table please contact Ginny on 01364 72853;
- visiting and buying things at one of the stalls – please take CASH;
- donating money: -Take to Caroline Lakin, Laurel Bank (opposite turning to Clobells) -please put envelope through front door letterbox marked Save the Children;
