‘Woman at War’ (2018) is an Icelandic-Ukrainian film written, produced and directed by Benedikt Erlingsson, and starring Halldóra Geirharðsdóttir. “Halla is a fifty-year-old independent woman. But behind the scenes of a quiet routine, she leads a double life as a passionate environmental activist. She plans to disrupt the operations of the local aluminium plant, but can she reconcile her activism with her desire to adopt a child!”
