‘Bogs and Frogs: Understanding the role of peat in our moorland ecosystems’ from 7 – 8.30pm at the Old School Community Centre (postponed from 25 June).
Steve Edmonds – National Trust and SW Peatland Partnership Ranger, gives an introduction to the peatland restoration work that is taking place on Dartmoor and Exmoor, and the importance of peat for wildlife.
We’ll look at why the peatland needs to be restored, how we go about it and how it benefits the natural environment.
