Bring it Back Fund
A new £1million fund to reduce reliance on single-use packaging in the food and drink sector in the UK has been launched by Starbucks and Hubbub. The funding is specifically to increase take-up and remove barriers for reusable packaging.
The fund is looking for projects that help shift people’s habits. This could include promoting behaviour change, undertaking new research, expanding an existing reuse model or trying something completely new.
Projects should cover at least one of the following focus areas:
- Making reuse systems seamless and convenient
- Motivating users to return their packaging and adopt long-term habits
- Increasing support and infrastructure for reuse systems to scale impact
UK registered organisations can apply: you must be a charity, academic body, CIC, social enterprise or registered company.
The fund will provide grants between £150,000 and £300,000.
Focus of fund/fund aims:
Grants up to £300,000 for UK organisations with projects that encourage the take-up of reusable packaging systems in the food and drink sector
