Join Sustainable South Brent, PL21 Transition Town & Sustrans to discover the beautiful Southern slopes of Dartmoor on this September evening ride. The ride is approximately 20 miles long. From South Brent we will follow the brilliant Dartmoor Way to a refreshment stop at the Abbey Inn by the side of the River Dart in Buckfast, returning to South Brent along quiet lanes. The route is on tarmac and in places will be hilly, but we will be allowing plenty of time to complete the ride. Please bring suitable clothing for all weather; bring sun protection, waterproofs and something to drink. Refreshments can be obtained at the inn, however, if you wish to bring your own refreshments, it may be that they will have to be consumed off the Inn’s premises. All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Please ensure that all cycles are equipped with suitable lights for the return leg and that hi-vis jackets/waistcoats are worn.
