Seed Swap extra! – Free Seed Saving Talk
Wednesday 1 July 20206: Seed Swap extra! – Seed Saving – Free talk: in the Methodist Church Hall at 7pm
Our speaker is Robyn Minogue, who is a grower at School Farm, Dartington, the celebrated local organic market garden. Robyn is part of the Gaia Foundation’s Seed Sovereignty Programme and has specialist experience of seed growing, working freelance across the agroecological sector to promote regenerative food systems.
South Brent Seed Swap has been put to bed for another year, but we’re now looking forward to future events (our fifth Seed Swap will be in February 2027) and thinking how we can get even more people involved in growing and saving their own seeds, both for their own use and swap with others. Successful seed saving is a satisfying and important step towards a more resilient food economy – and can save money too!
This will be an opportunity to learn about all aspects of seed saving.
Do take the opportunity to join us, for all you need to know about seed saving!
