SUMMARY:School Garden Renovation
DESCRIPTION:Monday 13th February from 10am – School Garden Renovation: and possibly also the next day (Tuesday 14th Feb) \nSSB’s School Garden Project has been helping local Primary school children grow food\, and enjoy outdoor space\, since 2009. The volunteers have a regular commitment to the project. Occasionally\, extra\, one-off needs arise\, and we are at one of those times. These are the areas where help is requested. \nThis is what could be done: \n\nCut back\, and renovate\, a willow ‘den’ so that children can play in it again.\nPrune some branches off an apple tree\, to let in more light and air.\nReduce a tree (field maple).\nLay a short length of hedge (with instruction and help).\n\nTools will be provided.  Please bring gardening gloves\, and a drink and snack\, if you plan to stay for long. \nNo dogs please!
