Together we can create a group that can support each other with ideas and perhaps help each other working together on our land. Your contribution can be as little or large as you choose. He is also lucky enough to have travelled to some of the most beautiful places on the planet in search of his subjects (see: www.dascottartist.com/). \nDave will be known to many in Brent for his previous talks for Brent Birders. \nNunavut is in the Canadian Arctic Archipelago and is the largest and northernmost territory of Canada \n  \nNB. DESCRIPTION:Saturday 26 November: Free Tree Giveaway at the Old School Community Centre between 10am & 12noon. Come and collect between one and five trees to plant in your garden! A range of broadleaf\, native trees and shrubs will be available first come\, first served. \nThis ‘tree hub’ day is being run by Sustainable South Brent with the trees provided by Devon Wildlife Trust. It is part of the wider ‘Saving Devon’s Treescapes’ partnership which is a response to the impact of Ash Dieback disease. The trees will all be small nursery transplants 20-40cm tall\, each provided with a cane and spiral guard as well as a planting and aftercare guide. \nJust turn up on the day – the event will run until all the trees are gone. SUMMARY:Seasonal Spectacular for children with Soundart Radio
DESCRIPTION:soundartradio.org.uk/seasonal-spectacular/ \nTuesday 28th December 2021: Seasonal Spectacular: Free activities and food for children with Soundart Radio 11am-3pm in South Brent Old School Community Centre. Free childcare with healthy cooked lunches broadcasting\, singing\, circus\, costume making\, animation and more for ages 6-16. Alice Armstrong\, who was the Project Worker for the SSB Community Radio Project will be back in South Brent with Soundart Radio for this event\, which is part of a series of activities in our local area over the school holidays\, culminating in a beautiful\, co-created procession and immersive performance event on Sunday 2 January from 3-6pm at Dartington Hall\, created by the children for families to attend together. Join us this Winter to create a mysterious and wonderful pageant to celebrate the turning of the year. All welcome! \nSoundart is a licensed community radio station and an Ofsted registered holiday club. Our staff are qualified artists and all are DBS checked. Seasonal Spectacular is funded by Devon County Council’s Holiday Activities and Food programme\, and children eligible for free school meals will be prioritised. Places are limited so please book in advance for all sessions\, on our website – https://soundartradio.org.uk/seasonal-spectacular/.
