SUMMARY:Saturday 'Stitch in Time' Workshops
DESCRIPTION:Saturdays 25 February; 25 March; 22 April 2023: ‘Stitch in Time!’ – Saturday workshops. Regular monthly workshops from 10am-12.00 on the last Saturday of the month at the Art House for darning/ mending/ finishing projects\, as well as meeting people and building community! Calling all UFO’S and LAID’S (Aka ‘UnFinished Objects’ and ‘Lying Around In Drawers’!) – bring those little sewing/mending/knitting jobs you just can’t get round to at home. There’s warmth\, company\, some help and basic materials like threads and scissors (no excuses left!) and even a cuppa. \nNo need to book\, come along \n– and it’s FREE\, thanks to South Hams District Council. Any questions email helenmepham@gmail.com. \n(NB These are not SSB organised workshops but are consistent with SSB’s aims)

DESCRIPTION:Saturday 21 August 2021: ‘Tickle Your Taste Buds’: A Creative Fun Food and Wildlife Activity Workshop from 11am-1.30pm under the Art House Gazebo at the Old School Community Centre\, led by Karin Jordan\, SSB’s Community Food Worker. Fun for all the family – hands on making hotels for Bugs\, Bees and Butterflies and creating savoury and CHOCOLATE snacks. Take home tasty snack treats and a bug hotel! (Note: snacks do not contain any bugs\, bees or butterflies; they will look pretty like them!). Limited spaces: priority given to advance bookings and first come first served on the day. Accompanied children only\, one 18 years+ responsible adult to max. three children.
