DESCRIPTION:Saturday 14 August 2021: ‘Waste Not Want Not’: 10am-4pm at the Old School Community Centre\, organised by Sustainable South Brent and the Climate Fair group. \nJumble Sale from 10am-12noon\, and a host of street stalls offering sustainable products\, goods and advice around the ‘Waste Not\, Want Not’ theme \nUpcycling workshops: \n\n‘Restyle and much loved ‘t’ shirt workshop’\nAdvice on old clothes mending and restyling\nMake your own\, unique tote bag from recycled material\n‘Power Up!’ competition for adults and children for the best idea for re-using/re-purposing common items in the home\nMake a pom-pom (children)\nChildren’s Artist from 2-4pm\n\nDelicious Refreshments available all day. There’s no need to book for any of the activities; they will be run on a ‘first-come\, first served’ basis.  Please deliver donated jumble and bric-a-brac\, to the Old School at 7-9pm on Friday 13 August. If you have a business crafting jewellery from old tin cans\, make rugs from old clothing\, or do/sell something along those lines\, please get in touch!  There will also be an exhibition on the theme of ‘Waste not\, want not’ celebrating SSB projects and art in the Corridor Gallery (see below).
