Show how you’re supporting nature in your patch!

Our wildlife is under threat! Inspired by a North Devon Biosphere project and Wild Exmouth, My Pledge For Nature is an initiative of Sustainable Staverton, with the aim of showing the world just how much support for nature there is in our corner of the world. The South Hams is known for its beauty: iconic hedgerows, tors, beaches, and dunes, however, ecosystems everywhere are under threat from human activity, and wildlife is in decline. Devon is no exception, in fact, the UK is one of the most nature-depleted countries in the world! So, show how you’re supporting nature and make a pledge today.

Whether it’s making a hedgehog house or an insect hotel, planting bat-friendly flowers, or leaving some of your lawn to go wild: every little helps! Your pledge will appear on the map as a cute little icon depending on whether your pledge is supporting

We would love to know how you have pledged to help nature in your porch, garden, allotment or woodland! No pledge for nature is too small or too big.

This page is under construction, but we wanted to start collecting your pledges as soon as possible. Please bear with us. Sustainable Staverton’s website has great ideas for your pledges – please see here. Make sure you use our form below to submit your pledges if you live in South Brent – otherwise we get confused! Please direct any queries to it@ssb.org.uk .
