SUMMARY:EV Charging Station consultation
DESCRIPTION:Monday 16 September 2024: EV Charging Station – consultation: – to discuss Furlong Energy’s proposals for an EV charging facility at Marley Head junction. \nThe chargers will be powered by green electricity produced on site. \nDrop-in clinic from 3-6pm in the Hall at the Old School Community Centre. There will be presentations at 3.30 & 5pm on the background to the development\, how solar powered EV charging works\, why it is necessary and how the proposal contributes to a greener environment. \n  \nThe development team will be on hand to address any queries and seek your thoughts and feedback. See: https://furlong.energy/. \n  \nNB. SSB has no involvement in this proposal\, and this is not an SSB organised or sponsored event. However\, as an organisation dedicated to “Creating a resilient\, low-carbon community\, where all life thrives” with strategic focal points on Energy and Transport\, as well as protecting the natural environment\, SSB clearly has a strong interest in encouraging discussion on these issues.
