SUMMARY:Living Well; Falling Apart
DESCRIPTION:How do I live well\, when it feels like the world is falling apart? \nAn online evening from 7.30 to 9.30pm. \nTime to slow down\, to reflect\, to share and explore\, and to be with the discomfort – amongst others. Anxious or hopeful? Despairing or determined? Confused or curious? Local\, National or Global? Legal or illegal? External or internal change? Inspired or burnt out? Action or rest? Nowhere to get to and no need to make choices or action plans. Just a chance to speak\, listen\, consider. To be with others and feel connected with a wider community. All welcome. This event was inspired by feelings and anxieties about the climate and environment. However\, we’ve come to realise it’s probably equally relevant to other challenging world events. \nThis event is not an SSB event\, but has been organised by a small group in Devon involved in local sustainability projects\, climate and environmental issues. Click here to register. Any questions – email discussions@itsorted.org.uk.

SUMMARY:Thermal Imaging Training
DESCRIPTION:Thursday 18 January 2024: ‘Thermal Imaging Training’ at 7.30pm in the Hub at the Old School Community Centre. \nWant to learn about heat loss from your home? SSB has two Thermal Imaging Cameras (TICs) for our members to use. The camera creates an image from infra-red heat emitted from an object\, so you can clearly “see” hotter or colder areas in your home. In order to borrow the cameras\, you need to: (1) be an SSB member\, and (2) attend this training. \nThis is a short\, fun session which teaches you how to interpret the images\, so you get the most out of using the camera. \nSpaces are limited and restricted to Sustainable South Brent members only – sign up on Eventbrite at www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/thermal-imaging-camera-training-tickets-773733566927 ; \n  \nThermal Imaging Training Jan 2024 – 1 \nor scan the QR code \n£5 / £3 or Free – as you feel is right for you.
