(The food is free but we need to pay transport and rent). For that you can get at least 10 items of food and groceries\, from a selection of produce that changes every week and includes a selection of fruit and vegetables and store cupboard essentials. If you feel you would like to donate more than £3.50 you are welcome to. There will be an opportunity to learn from experienced scythers. We’ll also be raking the cuttings ready for collection\, so please bring a rake and gloves if you can. Or just come for a chat! All welcome but no dogs please\, and children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please bring whatever you need to be comfortable e.g. drinks and snacks. Sturdy footwear recommended (not sandals). We’ll be returning to collect the grass the following day\, Sunday the 10th from 11-1pm – please bring a hay fork if you can.
