For that you can get at least 10 items of food and groceries\, from a selection of produce that changes every week and includes a selection of fruit and vegetables and store cupboard essentials. If you feel you would like to donate more than £3.50 you are welcome to. There is free parking on site at the Rec. \nThe main supplier is Fareshare SouthWest\, a national charity that redistributes surplus food from the food industry to community groups. \n  \n \n \nThis is a volunteer led project\, if you are interested in volunteering\, please email tuesdayfairshare@ssb.org.uk. Brent Island was bought for the village by the residents in 1994 and is managed by Brent Island Trust for people to enjoy and for the protection of wildlife. \n  \nThe trust is organising this day to mark the Island’s 30th anniversary. \n  \n  \n  \nThere will be Ice Cream and light refreshments; Facepainting; music from Wild Harmony; plus stalls by Brent Island Trust; West Country Rivers Trust; Devon Wildlife Trust; Sustainable South Brent; Dartmoor National Park; Blood Bikers; Dartmoor Rescue; The Fire Service; The Police; Avon River Champions; Moor Trees; South Brent Archive. \nThe event will go ahead if intermittent or light rain is forecast; however\, as there is no shelter\, if heavy rain is forecast\, a decision will be made by 9am on the day at the latest on whether to cancel. \n  \n(NB.
