DESCRIPTION:Tuesday 16 April 2024: Invitation to Avon Valley Landowners: \nA Meeting in The Hub at the Old School Community Centre from 6.30-8.30pm\, open to anyone owning land in the Avon Valley\, who is interested in conservation\, increasing biodiversity and rewilding. \nLynne Kenderdine (Devon Wildlife Trust) will introduce the session\, talking about the Avon Valley Project\, how corridors for wildlife can be created and also giving info. on applying for grants. Local landowners will have an opportunity to meet with like-minded neighbours and discuss how they might possibly support each other by e.g. exchanging ideas\, experience\, joint applications for grants and maybe helping each other (e.g. on volunteer days/scything/hedging etc) – whatever inspires/attracts those involved. \nSo if you\, or some-one you know\, would like an invite to this special evening with Lynne Kenderdine\, just email Jeannie: coaching@jhodder.co.uk.
