The Marsh – Open for Garden Waste & Compost
An event every week that begins at 10:00am on Sunday, repeating until 26 June, 2022
For Marsh Volunteers Rota: Click Here The Marsh: SSB’s composting site: adjacent the South West Water site on Exeter Road is open on Sunday mornings from 10am-1pm both to leave garden waste, and to buy compost. Having placed collection of compost on hold for a few weeks, compost is available for collection again. However, we still need MORE green garden waste eg. grass cuttings, dead flowers etc., and LESS wood! Please don’t bring stumps, vines, bamboo, Japanese knotweed, Himalayan balsam,…

Monday 11 July 2022: Dartmoor Invasive Species Project: Following the survey conducted by ecologist Mervyn Newman for Dartmoor National Park, Mervyn, and Dartmoor Ranger Ella Briens and are looking for help to tackle Himalayan Balsam around Brent. “If anyone is able to help out it will be really appreciated. Thursday 4 and Tuesday 9 August 2022: Balsam Pulling Days in South Brent as part of the Dartmoor Invasive Species Project.
